TeenSHARPie Alejandra (a rising senior at Howard High School of Technology) learned that not only was she was accepted into Schoolyard Ventures’ summer camp at Drexel, they also awarded her a full scholarship to participate in the program!
This one-of-a-kind program, offered through a collaboration between the Close School of Entrepreneurship and Schoolyard Ventures, places students in teams to take on entrepreneurial challenges that test their ability to innovate, sell and overcome obstacles — all in a supportive environment with mentorship from experienced entrepreneurs.
In May, Alejandra was invited to speak at the release of the Making Assessment Work for All Students report in Washington DC sponsored by the Northwest Evaluation Association and Gallup.
